This is you immediately think of whenever you heard the term. It's The Atari 2600 and it defines the word 'Classic' Even though the games are so simple and the graphics so primitive, it has a charm that will never be matched. The object and characters just barely represent what they're suppose to be, but that's the whole beauty of it, that you have to use your imagination. The sound effects are just awesome. And the lack of music just enhances the mood. It's that special kind of atmosphere, when it's in the middle of the night and your siting in the glow of your TV with the sound of crickets. The Atari had the longest life-span of any home video game system. Ok that's enough of that!
I found this in my garage. So I cleaned it and hooked it up. I have a lot for games for it and two controllers. But the controllers don't work well anymore, so I use my Sega Genesis controller. XD
It works great but my plugs for it stink. My TV is still all fuzzy when i play it. Is there another plug I can look for to use for my TV and Atari?
*sigh* So this is what VGs were like back then... ... how plain...

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
